I’m a second year Computer Engineering student from South Africa (as of 2026).

I’ve always been a tech enthusiast throughout my life from my humble HTML “programming” days, smartphone/consumer tech enthusiast phase up until my current obsession, Operating Systems.

I enjoy unterstanding the whole computing stack, from your web browser down to the silicon running it. My free time nowadays are spent experimenting with VMs, learning about systems, and contributing to Free/Libre Open Source.

Editor is an extremely simple-to-use terminal text editor. It was written in C, and it offers simplicity while being very responsive and performant. Editor was written using the antirez’s Kilo guide.

Making Editor was a long but rewarding process. I wrote C for the first time! I come from a Rust and C++ background but the more I delve into systems programming, the more I realize the need for understanding C as well as how things work at a low-level.
